On May 30, 2024, as part of the "Caltech and the Origins of Electric Vehicles" event hosted by the Caltech Department of Engineering and Applied Science and SAE International, Beckman Mall was filled with vehicles that were pivotal in the history of EVs. In addition, the Caltech Racing Team presented displays and demonstrations of EV technologies for the public.
