APRIL 2024. In this video we start with my last day at work as an International Train Manager with Eurostar taking my lunch break in the busy and beautiful city of Paris.
We then step things down a gear by hitching up my caravan to my Kia EV6 and heading off on holiday. First stop is at Clacket Lane Services on the M25 to charge the car and have a cup of tea. We then continue on to Kingsbury Water Park Camping and Caravanning Site near Tamworth to settle in for the night.
The next day we start slowly and enjoy the nature around Kingsbury Water Park before a quick grocery shop at Lidl. On we continue to Statfold Barn Railway at Statfold Country Park, where the annual Model Railway Exhibition is being hosted.
The next morning, we hitch up and head off to our next destination, stopping off first of all at Kimberley Caravans in Nottingham to buy a gas hose and exercise the dogs in the fields opposite. On we continue to Leeds Skelton Lake Services to charge the car and brew up a much-needed cuppa.
