In the US, child marriage, female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C), online sexual exploitation and abuse, and sex-based discrimination under the US Constitution are happening right now throughout the country, and we’ve outlined it all in our recent joint submission to United Nations Human Rights Council.
The ERA Coalition presented these findings to the United Nations Human Rights Committee in Geneva. The United States has an international legal obligation to uphold the human rights of its citizens and residents, and it’s failing.
The time to act is now.
