Located in Chongqing, China, Pipa Yuan has snagged the Guinness World Record for 3 years now. With a capacity of 5851, you'll need to climb up several flights of stairs to get to your table.
We had to check it out while we were in the city and ordered their Yuan Yang option, which is a mix of mala and clear base soup. It was a pretty standard hotpot affair, with the main highlight being the scale of the restaurant.
If you're travelling solo or as a duo, they also have a conveyer belt section so you don't have to worry about not being able to finish the full portions.
