Callie last weekend jumping a fence in the arena and a bit of XC at home. Mainly concentrated on working at the water complex as the grass was pretty wet to jump in the fields! I just livery at this yard :)

![Alfies first training show [Inc Fall]
So the big man went super well last night at his first proper training show. I kept it small as hes never actually done a full round of jumping without being jumped over all the fences first ( when we hire an arena) He was extremely unsure of it all at the start but soon worked into it and really enjoyed himself. He went double clear in the 60cm & Clear in the 70 apart from a little mishap after the 7th fence.. Due to the fact hes still young and inexperienced when i get unbalanced on him he usually has a bigger freak attack which almost always results in me hitting the sand HA. I got straight back on and finished my round with no problems. I am extremely happy with how he went & im really loving the horse Alfie is turning into :)
Im very aware that the riding in this isnt perfect i was a tad anxious & nervous at the thought of how it was going to go so wasnt releasing as much i should have. I trotted him & let him canter if he felt confident to, i believe a good sharp trot to a fence is far better than a dead, pushy canter on a younger horse!
