But, they will agree to making peace if Link’s mother can prove her worth in their ultimate trial: the Gerudo Temple.
And so, a long and gruelling journey through sandstorms and quicksand brings Link’s mother to the gates of the Temple. Before she sets foot on its hallowed steps, she hears on the wind a simple melody with the power to bring her back here.

Set 10 years before the events of Ocarina of Time, Link’s Prologue tells of two courageous parents caught up in the Hyrulean Civil War, as they fight to protect their young son, Link, from evil on all sides.
