California Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton spoke with Northstate News reporter Max Tedford during the Shasta County Republican Party’s 2026 Lincoln-Reagan Dinner on Friday, July 31, in Redding.

Hilton, who served as the event’s guest speaker, answered questions from Northstate News as attendees gathered to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
