Complete audio for the "Golden Dreams" attraction in the former Golden State area of Disney's California Adventure, CA.
This film presentation of California’s history starring Whoopi Goldberg was one of the original park attractions when Disney’s California Adventure opened on February 8, 2001. Disney decided to replace this attraction, and “Golden Dreams” closed September 7, 2008. When this attraction was removed, the theater was demolished but the entrance facade - a replica of the Bernard Maybeck’s Palace of Fine Arts - remained. It became the entrance to “The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure”, which opened June 3, 2011.
Also, in 2012, the Golden State area was retired and Pacific Wharf, Grizzly Peak and Condor Flats (three of its original five sub-areas) were named as official park areas. During this time, the sub-area which contained “The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure”, formerly known as The Bay Area, was incorporated into Paradise Pier.
