In this video, we try to fit Vauxhall Vectra GSI 308 brakes to my Vauxhall Calibra Turbo. Bigg Red did a complete refurbishment on these, taking them from a well used set to as good as new, finished in beautiful Brembo gold.

Tim Watson, known as Our Tim, works with Bob from Pump House Garage to complete a brake upgrade on Vauxhall Calibra Turbo.

My Vauxhall Calibra needed new brakes and I tried Bigg Red Brake Caliper Specialists to refurbish a set of Vectra GSI Calipers and Carriers.

My Opel Calibra Turbo always felt like it’s brakes were lacking, so this was a good excuse to upgrade my opel calibra 4x4 turbo.

I wasn’t 100% sure How to fit brakes, so I went to see my old friend Bob who runs the Pump House Garage in Adderbury, who has also looked after my opel calibra touring car, opel calibra 2.5 v6, opel calibra 2.0 16v and opel calibra dtm.

The Vectra 308 Brake Caliper Upgrade is a popular Vauxhall Calibra Upgrade for Vauxhall Calibra Modified, so I turned to Bigg Red Brakes and Goodridge to help me fit bigger brakes to Our Tim Vauxhall Calibra

Whilst I will rarely do opel calibra 2.0 16v top speed, The Review Big Redd upgrade will help stop me quicker and faster.

Background: Here’s the story. The vauxhall calibra 4x4 turbo needed need brake flexi hoses for the MOT. I got a set from Goodridge and Bob from Pump House Garage in Adderbury fitted them. BUT THEN… when he was bleeding the system, on the very last caliper, the bleed nipple snapped clean off. An so came the excuse to fit upgraded brakes, using larger 308mm set up from a Vectra GSI.

But things are never simple are they? When it came to fitted the new discs on the Vauxhall Calibra Turbo, the passenger side disc wouldn’t fit. The solution? Watch the video to find out!
