Mable is a rescue cow. The day I brought her home she was so sick the vet told me to put her down. I asked him if I could try to save her, and he helped me along the way.
After six months of battling pneumonia, lice, and having her lose all of her hair, here she is calling for treats. She’s been raised with my dogs, and while she’s 10 months old now, I don’t think she will ever be big enough to move into the pasture with the mini donkeys. She’s the size of my Great Pyrenees and just as hungry.
Mable will live a long and happy life here as my pet ‘dog.’
