This proved to be hideously difficult to pull off, holy crap. You have to wound the tank several times WHILE still picking off regular enemies in between to maintain your combo, then build up to a combo of over 50, THEN make sure your spin attack (or the throw if you use the Tadus) is the last hit that kills him.
Wounding him is tricky as it is, as you have to avoid him grabbing you, again, while maintaining your combo with regular kills, and watching out for your stamina and being careful not to run out of bullets at the wrong moment. Which happened to me so many times I was crying.
You COULD potentially play for the first 20 or so kills without caring about a combo, then should a tank show up (and restart if a different special enemy appears), wound him like three slashes, and THEN start building up a combo of 50+ before finishing him off.
However I tried this several times, and something always went wrong, and special enemies have an annoying habit of appearing to mess things up. This method (and the challenge in general) is much harder right now because of the nerf to Dragon Slash, meaning you cant quickly kill additional assassins or tanks that show up during the fight.
