Did you ever wonder what would happen if you were the leader of your party in a J-RPG, giving commands to the party members in battles... but if they were very unique personalities who would not always obey orders, and who would just do what they want, using their preferred attacks instead, or doing some shenanigans on their own, and there would be dedicated mechanics centered around that? Enter Ivris the unusual powerful mage who's actually more interested in fighting with her fists, Luminous the archer who's actually more of an idol and who would rather sing songs in the middle of a battle like she's the Bard/Dancer class, Numero the mad alchemist taking every chance he gets to perform wicked experiments on the poor monsters mid-battle, and more! I won't spoil them all but each of the party member has their own quirks and twists, they each have their own class/job but at the same time it's unlike any other J-RPG, they won't just execute your commands because you're playing a game... No, this game actually provides the unique charm and emotion of a "realistic" approach of the kind of antics that would happen if you were the leader of a party of oddballs. And it succeeds...
This is the kind of game with a unique concept, that makes it worth playing despite the rough edges. While it is clear that this is a low-budget/niche game, it is all the more heartfelt and endearing. It is because of lovely and passionate initiatives like these, that I'm a fan of IF/Compa ever since Trinity Universe on the PS3 and then the first version of the first Neptunia game and then mk2 which collabed with many other studios. With each new release I can feel how these devs want to pay tribute to their beloved game studios with unique ideas and modest games made with a lot of heart. As seen most recently with Mado Monogatari Fia and the Wondrous Academy. Calamity Angels Special Delivery is no exception and delivers a genuine and heart-warming experience with an unparalleled comedy, making me laugh IRL many times from the kinds of crazy ideas and wonky humor that they thought up.
There are many unique Special Skill animations (that trigger upon specific requirements) and they're overall so crazy and hilarious, it's hard not to fall in love with the creators behind this game. Just to give one example among many, one certain character might smell treasure nearby in the middle of a battle, and because she's obsessed with treasure, she'll actually leave the battle in the middle of it, leaving behind a decoy plush of her, replacing her battle sprite..! But what's even crazier is that if you wait for a few more turns, she will actually come back... with treasure, and a rare item will be added to that battle's loot at the end..! Or there's the idol girl who will sometimes daydream in the middle of a battle, and depending on the daydream and how she's imagining the monster and its family, the result of the special skill will be different..! And of course the shenanigans of the mad alchemist in battle are always a delight... along with his repeated mad laugh that is genuinely hilarious! It's hard for me to resist the urge of spoiling more of those special skills because each of them was so memorable and amazing. The comedy really is the star of this game. Forget Neptunia's skits, this is the real deal.
With the game's unique concept and its humor, and the very "It's not always about saving the world!" aspect, I could really feel the fun that the devs had while making this game, and that's important to me! It is clear that it's not a game made for "profit"/business first and foremost. On a personal note, I felt that in a way they are continuing where Gust (Atelier) left off. The earlier Atelier games (Arland etc) were modest, light-hearted and passionate. Not to mention the distinct anime slapstick humor! I deeply miss those games. Somewhere along the way (and the acquisition by Koei Tecmo) it all changed and now the new Atelier games are more like "traditional J-RPG" and are designed to sell first and foremost, with incorporating world trends (quoting the producer), saucy character designs, etc (Yumia). So with initiatives like Calamity Angels Special Delivery, I'm actually finding back the spirit of the "old Gust" so to speak, with the light-hearted-ness and the funny battle animations, and overall with a modest yet tasteful game, that has some weaknesses, but which are precisely part of the game's identity and I appreciate them as such.
By the way I'm sitting at 89% trophies and for those who would be interested, the trophy for completing the monster encyclopedia is missable and you'd better save before the Socia battle because she's apparently summoning a minion at some point and I apparently missed it because I finished the battle too fast lol.
Not game of the year material or anything but a very pleasant surprise and just the kind of initiatives I want to support the most!

![PMV Collab [Revived] - Kiss The Sky (Makenshi179s Parts) (feat. Dr_Stables in the second part)
Link to the full video, uploaded by Pro Brony : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieu5oYM4_7k
Link to Dr_Stables channel, my co-editor for the second part : https://www.youtube.com/user/ponydoctah
This PMV Collab has quite a backstory, over more than 7 months. In summary, the original host of the collab left it to abandon, and I spent a lot of time and efforts in reviving the collab over many months, getting the survivor editors together, creating a group chat, and slowly getting the collab back into fruition so that the parts that the original editors made, including mine, would not go to waste. Many editors left the collab, many joined, some even left while they promised to make their part still. It was quite an adventure and experience, with some bad tastes (like people not facing their responsibilities), but it also had some touching moments, as we, the survivor editors, stuck together, learnt more about each other, supported each other in tough times... In the end, some of us got the chance to bond more than before, and I personally treasure those memories we shared, and the feelings we have for each other. I love you all everypony!
Special mention to :
Andrey (Dr_Stables) for giving me the comfort of having another Pinkie close to me and in the group, and for being so cooperative and supportive (and many more adjectives I could list, haha). Thank you mate!
Animerge for totally giving his all in tough times and making amazing parts. Youre awesome dude! Also, glad we feel the same about being a family!
DealFire for joining us along the way and helping out by making an amazing part. Keep your head high, friend!
Pro Brony for seconding me in reviving the collab quite early in the history of the group, and for doing his job!
Arno (The White Piano Key) for joining us and making wonderful parts!
Obsessive Bookworm for doing his part and even providing a fix to a glitch at the last minute. Youre a lifesaver!
So about my parts.
I made the first a long time ago, back when the collab initially started, and I was still mostly relying on show scenes at that time. So it doesnt reflect what Im currently able to do. But I was still holding dear to it, because its still a heartfelt tribute to Pinkie that I made (and the first of many it seems, haha!). Also those scenes from the EQG movies are what really started to make Pinkie become my new favorite pony.
And as always, couldnt help but include a certain reference ^^
The second part was made recently and in collaboration with Dr_Stables, long after the revival project had started. It was very lovely and such an interesting collaboration experience and even though it wasnt like we did a full-length PMV together, I still enjoyed this collab inside a collab. Collab-ception, as Dr_Stables said! Also, Im glad I could make that custom animation of us two as two Pinkies, I love that kind of stuff ^.^ Tell me if Im good enough with this Flash thing!
I made the cover art that is used for the custom thumbnail of the full collab, and this video.
Link : http://makenshi179.deviantart.com/art/Kiss-The-Sky-cover-art-597858037
Part of the inspiration behind this cover art comes from what Dr_Stables suggested to me, too. Like using the same Pinkie vector that Im currently using as my Twitter avatar, for myself. And putting the rest of the mane 6 in the picture. Then I thought, us two as Pinkies like in my animation, and with the other 5 ponies, that makes 7 of us, and were 7 editors! I think it worked very well ^^
Thank you for reading, this was definitely one of the biggest and longest projects/endeavors of my life. I cant deny Im happy that its finally completed and released now ^.^
And thank you to my fellow co-editors on this, for helping me out getting this collab back together, and for coming up with amazing parts.
This has been one hay of a ride... But we made it!! ^.^ Congrats everypony! We survivors revived that collab, and what an awesome result! Im proud of yall.

Reminder : This part has been made under 3 hours as per the PonyTimeRush challenge.
Havent got much to say about my part so Ill just say that I really loved the ending of the collab, with Dazzls part followed by Rainys, and that very original concept with the PTR logo and clock in the hospital room, reflecting the first appearance of Daring Do in the show. It was all quite emotional for me, not to mention the PIRL scenes! ^^ Really mad props to all those amazing editors who make wonderful things.
Hey there, SMores! I mean... members of the Dedicated Description Readers club! The one and only. Thanks for checking out my description once again ^.^ Brohoof! /) PMV Collab [PonyTimeRush] - The Vine (Makenshi179s Part)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Je4i8j_PMk4/mqdefault.jpg)

![Sailing Off & Totori Becomes Captain in Atelier Resleriana [4K]
Long-Awaited First Voyage Ive truly been waiting for this for a long time!! Totori is my favorite Atelier and has my favorite Atelier OST, and is the reason why I love anything related to the sea and sailing now.
This coincides so awesomely with me getting back from a trip in Brittany, the region of France that looks the closest to Totoris world, with the sea, Alanya-like towns, ruins, chapels, Decaying Monasteries, menhirs/dolmens/megaliths, the local music that reminds me of Totoris OST and that is quite emotional, etc. Ive had such a powerful emotional moment there when exploring and discovering landmarks while listening to fitting tracks from Totoris OST...
It finally happened and were sailing off in Resleriana with our own ship courtesy of Roman. During this location change animation displaying High Seas that has a custom animation of Totori and Lanze sailing, I got a callback of the map animations from Totori somehow and that was so emotional, I fangasmed!
When Totori started helping Lanze out on the ship with several animations and was so used to it because of her experience in her own game... That was so wonderful and appreciated!!
I wish she would say more than just I did travel pretty far by ship, with all that she did in her game, but oh well.
When Totori wanted to name the ship... I prayed for some epic reference to her game, like for example naming it Pilgrimage or Guidance... But nope, comic relief it is!
When Lanze said they cant fight the monsters on the deck... Dang, missed opportunity to make battles happen on the ship just like in Atelier Totori with random encounters on the sea!! Maybe there wasnt enough budget to make a new battle map and so they reused the coast map...
Rorona designed Totoris new dress the same way she made Totoris regular outfit in her game... (quote: Apparently alchemists have to wear things like these!) She really looks fabulous. Im obviously a huge fan of that sailors outfit.
Its nice that she uses a gun for once, like Cordelia does.
Im very happy with her design and animations... Nothing too fanservice-y, theres the bare shoulders and the zettai ryouiki from her original designs, I love the hat, the pink of the feathers come from the pink in her color palette and the Totori logo... Looks like her Living Sword was made with alchemy, too.
I LOVE how shes often doing the adventurer looking at the sea gesture with her hand!!
I got very lucky and I actually got Sailor Totori with my first 10 pull. That was amazing. I could also finally get regular Firis from the recent giveaway. And I used my first pity for Chuunibyou Firis. It was a good day.
Now I aim for Chuunibyou Wilbell at chapter 14, and Mimi with my second pity. She must be reunited with her best friend ♥ Three versions of them, at that!! Ive got 3 versions of my favorite Atelier girl (Totori) and 2 versions of my second favorite (Firis). There was much rejoicing.
Might not be too far off when Ill be able to synthesize brand new Guardian Liquor from a krakens arm... Totori will have Lanze try it.

![PMV Collab [PonyTimeRush] - Make Them Gold (Makenshi179s Part)
Linkie-Pinkie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3bz6OYJjWo
My part for PonyTimeRushs newest collab, that is also its last!
Ive been honored to be a part of PonyTimeRush for all this time and delighted to be able to work alongside so many talented and passionate editors. Shout-out to Soniccrew for inviting me to the group back then, Ill never forget it! I have fond memories of all those PonyTimeRush collabs Ive joined, and Im glad I could take part in the last one.
For this one I knew there was a certain theme I wanted to do, and a certain couple I wanted to pay tribute to. Sunny Skies and Petunia Petals are so lovely together and I absolutely loved their relationship in the special! And that last scene when he confesses his love to her and proposes to her... That part is so emotional for me, I love it so much, so I knew I had to make something special for it in this PMV part, and do my best to pay homage to it and the love that these two share. This is my love letter to them, and me sending them all my best wishes for the future that theyll build together ♥
Technique-speaking, I went for traditional style, and Im glad that I did because thats the style that many others in the collab went for too! I definitely wanted the focus to be on these scenes and the story-telling, and the character depth. Also wanted to make Petunia notice Sunnys feelings and how much he thought about her, so thats what that middle part is about! Wanted to check if I hadnt lost my hooves at custom animations of pony vectors, too. And I recently got a new particle effect so I tried it out further with those sparkles at the start and the feathers at the end. You may have seen me using that effect in videos on Cider Party recently, too. Also, heavily used the Starglow effect here, which is becoming a favorite of mine! If I apply Starglow to my usual hoof-made smoke effect, it will make beautiful shiny and sparkly things, what do you know! And I can even layer them, and it works just fine! I dont even need to transition them... It blends together perfectly. So thats how those colored glows around the screen are switching from green-yellow-red, to rainbow-colored, to a romantic pink for the finale, that is also Petunias color! Had fun with that hehe, and I thought it emphasized on the moment when Petunia is answering positively to Sunnys proposal!
For those who wonder why I dont upload more often, it is because Im very busy with other community projects such as Horse Music Herald, Cider Party, and Equestria Daily. Devoting all my time to pony music promotion is leaving me no time for personal projects... But rest assured that Im not leaving the PMV scene, and I will always be dedicated to ponies, so you can bet me and my channel are gonna stick around! And we never know when I might get inspired and have time to make a spontaneous tribute again, like I did with Starlight Rocks! I know that was a while ago, but please bear with me!
Thank you very very much if youve read the description this far ♥
I love you all everypony, and that will never change! Keep being yourselves and spreading the passion! And thank you for checking out my stuff! Brohoof to you! /) PMV Collab [PonyTimeRush] - Make Them Gold (Makenshi179s Part)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/NypkDkNcyBs/mqdefault.jpg)
