Cafe Royal's Matador Tequila Cocktail.
The 3 ingredients cocktail recipes are favourites of mine, and here we have another excellent example of a well-balanced cocktail. The Cafe Royal's Matador is Tequila based with a fantastic orange flavour and dry finish. Thanks to Orange Curacao and the Dry Vermouth, you will get a splendid aperitif or, why not, a slow sip drink.
The cocktail first appeared in 1937, and years later, Trader's Vic released a tropical version; you can check the recipe below.
I love the simple yet excellent taste of this Tequila Cocktail, and I hope you will try it.
CAFE ROYAL'S MATADOR
- 25ml / .85oz Tequila Blanco
- 25ml / .85oz Orange Curacao
- 25ml / .85oz Dry Vermouth
TEQUILA MATADOR - Trader's Vic
- 30ml / 1oz Tequila
- 60ml / 2oz Pineapple Juice
- 22.5ml / .75oz lime juice
