EX NOTE: the only way to play METAL SLUG 6 through any [official] means lately is to through the METAL SLUG ANTHOLOGY releases (sadly that collection has some button delay issues which is a bit of a shame) and the PS2 JP version thats available digitally right now on the JP PS3 PSN store. i wish HAMSTER would release this one in their lineup one day.
as for the METAL SLUG 6, ralf and clark from ikari warriors are here and they are an amazing addition to the metal slug series. they fit right in. theyve stepped up their game in making unique bosses/machines, i like them. i also like when the action zooms out. if i knew the music was going to be drown out by sound effects, i wouldve lowered the SFX by a bit, rip. enemies are interesting looking. the bosses are a new way of being animated by rotating them. it looks jarring but tbh, i dont think SNK has much of a choice. animating is hard stuff. fuck that brain robot boss though, was getting tilted there lol
