Naropa Extended Campus was thrilled to present the second installment of our "Café Contemplate: Mindfulness is For Everyone" series on June 13, 2024, featuring Naropa professor and equity educator, Betsy Gonzalez Blohm.

In this insightful talk, Betsy delved into the profound ways our disconnection from the earth, nature, and each other leads to ecological devastation and human suffering. Under Betsy’s expert guidance, we explored a number of contemplative practices that can help us reconnect with the wisdom of our ancestors, and examined how mindfulness-based approaches can foster sustainable, life-affirming actions that promote ecological healing and collective liberation.
