Cadillac has introduced their most powerful production car ever, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and with it, their most powerful engine, a 6.2L supercharged V8 producing 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque. This is not to be confused with Cadillac's 4.2L Blackwing V8, a twin turbocharged DOHC engine developed for the CT6-V, which is no longer in production. This video will compare the two Blackwing V8 engines. We'll cover airflow, intakes and exhausts, hot-v engines, air-to-water intercoolers, twin-scroll turbos, and discuss how twin, twin-scroll turbos can be implemented in a V8 engine.
