✮ Story Summary ✮
Cadeau (bay mare narrating the story) is a mare who is gifted to a young girl from a wealthy family, though the girl has little interest in horses. Without the passion for horses that true equestrians have, Cadeau lives her life on a schedule of eating, sleeping, and occasional work when her owner decides she feels like riding. When interest is lost in the mare, she is sold off, though what the future holds is up for audience interpretation.
