Needles used in video demonstration: Signature Needle Arts fixed length circular needles (these are discontinued). Chiaogoo tends to have nice pointy needles, and Addi Lace or Rockets would also work well

Yarn used in video demonstration: Berroco Ultra Wool superwash wool

Resources for finding knitting patterns that use these types of stitch patterns:
On Ravelry, use the advanced pattern search. Filter for Fabric Characteristics = twisted stitches and/or filter for Ethic/Regional Styles = Bavarian. This sample search will get you started. ravel.me/ek0750

Stitch Dictionaries
The three-volume Überlieferte Strickmuster aus dem Steirischen Ennstal by Maria Erlbacher is also in Bavarian German, but there is very little text, it's mostly charts. There is a one-volume English translation of these booklets called Twisted-Stitch Knitting published by Schoolhouse Press. amzn.to/4in4n3O

The three-volume Bäuerliches Stricken by Lisl Fanderl is excellent (text is in Bavarian German, but the charts are easily read.) Unfortunately, this book is out of print and very expensive to get used.
