Ride in the cab of White Pass & Yukon shovel nose diesel #97 between Skagway, Alaska and Fraser, British Columbia. The view is mostly straight ahead, with a few shots of engineer John Westfall working the controls.
Although it's noisy in the cab, John shares commentary about the ride from time-to-time.
This was shot with our older camera, and our cab rides coming back the other direction were shot the next year with our then-new broadcast HD camera. So this may be a little fuzzier than the others, but you get to see the climb up from Skagway, and there was more snow on the ground this time.
