Ride the locomotive cab of Amtrak P42 #18 on the "Southwest Chief". This is a s six program series. This installment is the fourth one, running from Wagon Mound to Chapelle, New Mexico over the BNSF Railway's former Santa Fe Route.
In this volume, the route changes from high plains and the scenery changes as we get closer to Glorieta Pass. Along the way, the crew also offers insights about the sights that our trains encounters, such as Shoemaker Canyon and Las Vegas. The view is mostly looking straight ahead, with occasional shots of the crew or out the side window.
In this program you'll see an absolute forest of the old AT&SF semaphore signals, every one of which is now gone.
