This Friday on Friday Night Live!, we’re doing something completely new.
For the first time, I’m bringing Commodore 64 vs Atari 800XL to the live show.
We’ll play Letter R games on both systems using real hardware, compare the graphics, sound, controls, and gameplay, then the live chat will vote on which system wins each matchup.
This time, I’m not choosing the winner.
You are.
At the end of the night, we’ll add up the votes and crown the overall Letter R champion.
Will it be the Commodore 64 or the Atari 800XL?
Join me live Friday at 7 PM Central and help decide.
Real Hardware. Real Memories. You Decide.

👇 ABOUT FLOPPY DEEP DIVE 👇
Hey, it’s Tom from Texas. I run the machines we grew up with.
No emulators. No shortcuts. Just real hardware powered on the way it was meant to be. The click of keyboards, the whir of floppy drives, and the glow of a CRT hitting you right in the nostalgia.
If you remember swapping disks, waiting for games to load, or hearing a startup sound that instantly took you somewhere else… you’re in the right place.
Here you’ll find:
🕹️ Real hardware gameplay across C64, Atari, DOS PCs, consoles, and more
⚔️ Head-to-head comparisons (C64 vs Atari, C64 vs NES)
💾 Deep dives into forgotten games and mystery floppies

![Hidden Commodore 64 Gems You Can’t Miss!
Join me, Tom from Texas, for another dive into retro gaming history in today’s Whats on That Floppy? episode! We’re going back in time to explore some hidden Commodore 64 gems—straight from a floppy disk loaded with classic games from the 80s! Today’s lineup includes He-Man and the Ilearth Stone, Alleycat, Deathscape, Video Meanies, and the fan-favorite Deceptor! If you’re a Commodore 64 enthusiast or just love discovering forgotten games, this is the episode for you.
Every Saturday, I pull out another disk from my personal collection—full of games I downloaded from BBSs or traded with friends back in the day. No walkthroughs, no prep—just raw gameplay like we did it back in the 80s. Relive the nostalgia, see rare Commodore 64 titles in action, and maybe even discover a game you never knew existed!
Make sure to subscribe if you’re new, and give this video a thumbs up if you’re a fan of retro gaming. Let me know in the comments which game was your favorite from today’s episode!
