In this video series we are refurbishing a C64 system for a boy with special circumstances. Thanks for the great retro community donations have come in around the world for this project.

In this particular video we are refurbishing a Commodore C2N (1530) datasette. Thanks to Ronald Postgate from the UK for donating the new set of belts to get this old datasette in working order. We give the unit a good cleaning, swap in the new belts and try loading out some games. We finish up by crafting a super spiffy BSIC program and test saving it to tape and loading it back in.

In the next video we’ll do a refurb on the Commodore 64 for this system.
