In this #c4d tutorial we are going to be modeling a character, rigging the mouth and animating it to some audio. You can download the audio below.
In the first part:
We will be using the modeling tools inside of Cinema 4D to create our character. We will start with the mouth which we will create using a
Loft Object. We will also be lighting our scene and adding materials to our character.
In the second part:
We will be using the Pose Morph tag to create the required poses for our character's mouth. We will then look into Custom User Data in Cinema and how we can use it to add a joystick like controller that will drive the mouth animations.
In the final part:
We will import our audio into our Cinema 4D scene and lip sync our character to the audio.
One thing you will have to do which I didn't cover in this tutorial is import your rendered sequence into After Effects along with the audio and sync the timing. Any questions on this just let me know in the comments....
