Cosmic Valk5 Solves and Review Nicolas Naing 2022-03-20 | 51.38, 51.11, 50.46So far I have done around 200 solves on this puzzle and it has broken in very well. The only change that I have made is loosening all of the sides a little bit. The only issue that I have with it is that my previous Valk5 was faster. However, this puzzle has a less flimsy feel while still being fast enough, which was a problem with my previous 5x5 despite the speed. In addition, I can add Stardust to this puzzle to make it faster, which should remove the advantage that my previous 5x5 had. For now I plan to stick to the YuHu as the transition to that puzzle was easierAside from personal preference, I think that this is a good puzzle as it is fast while being stable. It has a similar light weight to the GAN, but has an easier core system to lubricate, which I prefer. This puzzle has a slightly sculpted design instead of ridges. I don't think it made too much of a difference (reminded me of the GAN dimples which did not change much) but I have not had any grip issues with the puzzleIf you want to get a new mega, I would recommend going with a YuHu as it is cheaper and can achieve the same times from my experience. It took me a bit of time to get used to the speed and larger size, but it was worth it in the end as I don't think I can achieve the YuHu's speed on the Galaxy without loosening it way too much.
