While I do agree that the Academy line from C. Bechstein isn't *quite* as nice as their Concert line, I can't say that I think the Academy series is far behind. They still have a great action, fantastic dynamic response, and a very nice sound that is pleasant to listen to. If you want a C. Bechstein but aren't in the budget for the Concert series, the Academy series is a great option.
