This is a old video about 10 years old now and when I did it the mod was old too. I put 62K in my 1541-II just mapped out the I/O else it would be 64K. I did 3 of these and did one for a friend who made a boot disk that would take a 1541 image and put it to the ram. I had a switch to switch the ROM out so could right over the ROM and then do the switch and have a new ROM in the RAM. I still have this drive. Works real good and I even put a zero track censer in it. I took the code out of the 1541-C it came with that censer. I even mod the JiffyDOS code to have that track 0 in it.
O in this video I said I did it in 1995.
