Patterning on my 1/4 Scale 3D Printed Body Form Downen Creative Studios 2023-07-15 | I'm patterning my Nemesis cosplay on my 1/4 scale body form, using tape. Working on a smaller scale is saving me time! It's also handy to be able to pattern on my back and figure out straps and proportions this early in the patterning stages. When I have finished the first draft of this costume pattern, I'll refine it further by tracing to thin cardboard (to simulate 4mm eva foam). After a test fitting on the 3D printed form, I'll scan and enlarge it by a factor of 4. The upscaled patterns will (theoretically) fit me and will only need minor adjustments.
