D-R35 Plus: Uncover the True CPU that drives this Budget Handheld?! RetroSpecd 2024-04-26 | It is pretty disappointing that the D-R35 Plus is advertised with an RK3326 and come to find out it has the VT569B. It doesn't make it less fun to play with but it does explain why it struggles at times and the lack of PSP. There isn't a lot of info about this chipset out there so it's possible that it could be made to perform well with a little TLC. At the very least we continue to work on unlocking is completely locked down OS with the hopes to be able to make adjustments in RetroArch. The D-35 Plus is a R33S (Miyoo Mini Plus Clone) + R36S (Anbernic RG353VS clone) + SZDiier D007 (internals). It also shows some traits of the R35S (Powkiddy RGB30 clone) which I assume is where the naming came from but the traits are mostly coveted by the R36S. Guideline changes for Apple Developers were first brought to light by 9to5 Mac. The Apple Developer Guidelines Update doesn’t say what you think it does. The reasoning behind the changes in section 4.7 in Apples New developer guidelines are to and I quote “support updated policies, upcoming features, and to provide clarification." If you try to read what’s not between the lines this could get confusing. This will allow vendors to use an individual emulator to emulate their own catalog. For example Sega already has games on the iPhone but each game runs on an individual emulator to make the rom run. They own both the rom and the emulator. With this update a company like Sega or Nintendo through NSO or any other publisher could offer ROMs from their library to be downloaded into an emulator which can house multiple games. This one was a lot of fun. In part because the handheld does well at emulation of a great introductory price. This started with just a couple things I wanted to do and of course it snowballed from there. Was able to fix some of the issues I had with the handheld as well as get some awesome additions. GuiliKit Hall Effect Joystivks, Sakura Mods PS Buttons, CloudLife face buttons, swapped the rear triggers with Better Back Buttons that not only work better but are also much quieter, installed some custom firmware that is based off the ArkOS firmware shipped with the handheld but updated making it function better and topped it off with a nice PlayStation logo on the back of the handheld giving it a more premium look. Unexpected Findings: Anbernic RG35XX H/+ Modified Stock OS Comparison RetroSpecd 2024-03-24 | To date the most optimized Firmware for the Anbernic RG35XX H/+ is exactly the opposite of everything we have come to know to be true in past Emulation Handhelds.
