I honestly don't know why this video wasn't made public when I filmed it back in 2014 at Brandon's place. I was just going through my old videos and realized that this video had literally zero views, and it was because it was set to "private" for some reason.

The puzzle turns really well, except for one troublesome mechanical issue that is inherent to this geometry: the tiny edge pieces can rotate on their own. I don't think I'll be offering this puzzle for sale due to this problem. I might give it another shot down the road, but I want to finish several other projects first. I'll update this description when/if that happens.

I made my first attempt at designing this puzzle about 12 years ago, and it was a total dud. It locked up like crazy, and it eventually disintegrated in my hands. Looking back at the CAD over a decade later, I was shocked to discover that I had tried to make this puzzle work with only 2 shells.
The new version uses 4 shells, and it is unbelievably stable. It turns very smoothly, and it never locks up. This is one of the best puzzles I've ever made, up there with the new Nebula.

This is a new iteration of a puzzle I first presented back in 2010. It turns much better this time, thanks to an improved mechanism and the addition of magnets to help keep the edge pieces aligned during face turns.

This new version of the Nebula is even better than the one I first presented back in 2014. The turning is spectacular, and the puzzle is much more stable and robust than it used to be. I tweaked the cut geometry to make some of the smallest stickers slightly larger. I also redesigned the corners to have removable caps, allowing access to the screws underneath.
The old video I took with Brandon, which I mentioned in this video, was accidentally set to Private for some reason, which explains why it never got any views in the 8 years since I uploaded it. You can find that here: youtu.be/BcUrbiCMDAU

Here are the puzzles that will be available to start with:
- MegaTwist
- GigaTwist
- Master Curvy Copter Plus
- Celtic Cube
- Master Face Turning Rhombic Dodecahedron
- Radio Cube 3
- ETO+
- ETO++
(I'm still working on some final details of the shop pages, so not all of these will be showing up on there right away, but they should all be up by sometime this weekend.)
All of these puzzles have been recently updated with improved mechanisms, bigger sticker surfaces, and other minor tweaks that I thought were necessary.
When you buy a puzzle from my i.Materialise shop, it will arrive inside a Grid Container, like this, and it will be up to you to supply the screws and do the assembly and stickering. The stickers are all available at chewiescustompuzzles.com/stickers. I’ll include a link on each shop page to the appropriate stickers, and information as to what screws that puzzle is designed for.
If you prefer not to do the assembly and stickering yourself, I am happy to do that for you, though there will be a substantial extra fee for my time. I’ll include a contact link on each shop page to reach out to me for that.
Stay tuned for more additions to my shop in the near future. In the meantime, go check out the shop, and happy puzzling!

I go into some depth about my strategy and mindset for unbandaging a jumbling puzzle, from a purely mechanical point of view. At the 10-minute mark, I stop rambling about mechanisms, and start scrambling. I was quite surprised at how fun it was to scramble the ETO++. The extra unbandaging is unexpectedly liberating. Enjoy!

When I first presented the Master Helicopter Cube in August 2010, people told me that what I had really made was a Master Curvy Copter. So finally, here is a True Master Helicopter Cube. The inner layer cut is completely flat, and the outer layer cut is as close to flat as I could make it without cutting pieces off.
I designed this puzzle on SolidWorks, printed it in the WSF material at Shapeways, dyed it using Rit Dye, and stickered it with Mefferts high-quality vinyl that I cut on my university's laser cutter.
I am still debating whether to offer this one on Shapeways. The price would be somewhere in the $180 to $230 range. If you think you might buy one at that price, please say so in the comments.
Enjoy!

CORRECTION: I was mistaken about this puzzle creating the milestone, as the 24-octahedron already fills the edge-turning octahedron slot. Oh well. It's a great puzzle in any case!
