Byker Grove is a children’s series that ran from 1989-2006 that starred Britain’s most iconic duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. It’s about kids who go to a youth centre in Newcastle and shows what their life is like outside and inside the youth centre and shows drug addiction, child abuse, homelessness, teen pregnancy, homophobia and abortion. It’s not really aimed at children.. it’s aimed at teenagers and young adults.
