BYD megawatt-charged this battery 350 times in 9 days — the result shocked everyone
BYD pulled a random Yangwang U7 from a showroom, then drove it 30,000km at an average 240 km/h over 9 days in 36°C heat, stopping for 350 ultra-fast "Flash" charges pulling up to 640kW each time — a brutal combination of heat and rapid charging that normally wrecks batteries fast. The result: the pack still retained 98.7% of its original capacity, suggesting BYD's Blade Battery 2.0 and thermal management can handle extreme fast-charging without the degradation everyone expected.
