Burnsville Youth Collaborative (BYC) offers middle school students a chance to explore the music industry and learn introductory skills that are current and relevant in both music and video. This is offered through immersive classes at The Garage. Twice a week, students get hands-on experience with music and production equipment in the recording studio, as well as a chance to work with video camera equipment and learn editing software. This gives students tools and knowledge to expand their mind to the possibilities of what they could do in the music and entertainment industry!
The Garage is an all-ages, substance-free, 501(c)(3)-nonprofit-run venue dedicated to providing young people equitable access and opportunities in the Twin Cities music community. Your donation fuels these opportunities. Learn more at catalystmusic.org
