Aw well.Possible contestants for a 1977 "best of" concert were Chicago (4 days), Cincinnati (2 days), Landover (4 nights), New York (6 nights!), Inglewood (6 nights!), and Oakland (2 nights).So, why Landover? Because there are no other concerts in 1977 with (relatively) consistent sound quality at a set location (i.e. New York 1973, Earls Court 1975, Knebworth 1979)/close region (i.e. Greater L.A. 1972) across all (or most) nights.This concert features music from ALL 4 nights (May 25, 26, 28, and 30, 1977) Led Zeppelin performed at the Capital Centre, before and on Memorial Day (and just before Bonzo's 29th birthday on the 31st).Audio source is from Long Live Led Zeppelin's blog.My capabilities at editing the audio have increased a bit. I need to take a break from these long, arduous projects, as they've taken up much of my free time in the past few months, between school, work, social life, composing, and I've fallen behind on shows/YouTube channels, etc.I will notify you, the subscribers, when I begin to work on Knebworth 1979. ————AFTER KNEBWORTH?After Knebworth, I want to experiment with the Tour Over Europe 1980. The only multi-night location is Manheim, with two nights. The concerts do feature some of the best performances of that tour, but other songs...well, not so much. Second I went through the concert multiple times to Notch Filter mic feedback and very specific and minor subbass and upper treble frequencies that are from the tape itself, not the concert.Next, I employed Equalizer on the entire concert, with subbass and upper treble being increased. I used the sound landscape of How the West Was Won as a loose reference to equalize the concert. I still want to go through on my promise of releasing the "Best of Knebworth 1979" when the Capital Centre is almost done.Problem there is that I need to go through my "Best of Knebworth 1979" as it is quite literally ~99.6% August 4th (not including Communication Breakdown). There is literally a total of 37 seconds of August 11 throughout 3 songs at the moment, and 31 seconds is that of an intro. I want to go through it all again and see (with my improvements in "Frankenstein-ing,") if I can do a better "Best of."So in the meantime, I took all day yesterday starting and finishing this little project. The GH3 mix does not fade in or out. The last solo between the two versions are structured differently, and feature different solos. So here is an amalgamation of the two solos.Annoyingly, to keep the sound/volume consistent between the two versions, I had to heavily compress the GH3 mix, especially in the solo. Yes I know the transition from "Sabbra Cadabra" to "A National Acrobat" is abrupt; the Metallica arrangement had an added chord progression to smoothen the transition, which does not exist in the original tracks.I make no profit off of this, and all rights go to the respective bands (music to Black Sabbath, arrangement to Metallica).
