Streets of Rage Dreamcast Demo by Sega of Japan Rando Archive 2011-09-20 | In the late 90s, there was a Streets of Rage planned for Dreamcast by Sega of Japan. As you can see, the demo showed a character similar to Axel fighting off a group of enemy characters. Various changes in gameplay had apparently been planned, including the introduction of new team attacks and a new first person perspective. Allegedly due to new management at Sega of America being unaware of the series and its past success, Sega did not follow up on it and the game never advanced past the demo stage. The original videos had no audio, so I left it that way in my upload.
Golden Axe: Beast Rider (PS3/360) - E3 2006 Vision Video Rando Archive 2022-10-10 | At E3 2006, Sega showed a sizzle reel containing various games on the large projected screen. They ran their own music over everything, and it seems no one paid attention, but as a long-time Sega fan, I took note of this first look at Golden Axe: Beast Rider. I assumed the footage would be released soon after, or that someone would record it, but no one did. In fact, no one seemed to remember anything of the sort. I emailed the development company, but they of course didn't respond. I occasionally searched for years, but came up with nothing.I was quite surprised when I decided to search for it today, and found that someone did a small write-up about this video. Though Secret Level was developing the game, before really starting development, they asked Blur Studio to render a short scene that would give a feel for the target gameplay. The video was completed in December 2005. This is clearly the greatest Batman fight scene Rando Archive 2021-03-09 | Black Star and The Golden Bat was made in Korea in 1979. The best quality video we have is from an ancient VHS of the Spanish dub, released in Spain. I adore this scene, and honestly love several aspects of the fight.
Murphys Irish Stout: Last Orders (1997) AI Scaled to 1080P Rando Archive 2020-05-16 | This was a really well animated and cool cyberpunk commercial for beer from 1997. It was only available in SD. I've been messing with AI scaling recently, and thought the results were pretty good on this one. Looks a lot better before Youtube compression, but still looks better than SD here, especially from 0:18 on.

Dirty Pair: Project Eden Opening (1986) Clean NCOP HD Rando Archive 2020-02-08 | Finally, a clean HD version of this beautiful opening. I uploaded a carefully scaled DVD rip years ago, but now we have the best one we're probably going to get.The introduction to Dirty Pair: Project Eden is beautiful in so many ways. It was done by Koji Morimoto for Sunrise. He later went on to co-found Studio 4°C. Morimoto was clearly inspired by James Bond openings, but pulled it off better than any Bond opening in my opinion. The materials animations are astounding. The scenes are works of art, using interesting color palettes and compositions. Every single frame is a beautiful illustration. This opening was so good. There is no way the movie would live up to it.

クマのプー太郎 (Kuma no Putaro) Episode Rando Archive 2019-01-17 | This series is unfortunately quite rare, as it was never rebroadcasted, nor released on VHS or DVD. Found this random episode on an old second gen VHS tape from TV. It ran from 1995-96, and was one of my favorite anime shows when I was a teenage weeb. I very much enjoyed the Canadian wrestlers on this episode for their heavy Canadian accented Japanese. It had a lot of fun characters like the monkey who carries around a karaoke microphone like a security blanket, or the rabbit who is seemingly sexually aroused by putting her body parts into crevices.

In the other versions, all the circles are ovals, and the women were even skinnier than they already were normally. The source video was not HD, but was upscaled to retain quality. Time Gal - All Scenes - Not Gameplay Rando Archive 2016-07-16 | Laserdisc rip of Time Gal, which I always felt was super inspired by Dirty Pair. It was definitely one of the better animated laserdisc games. Pretty much all of the other non-Bluth animated laserdisc games were cash grabs that used pre-existing footage from animated movies, or lower-skilled/budget animation. This one had some care put into it.This is purely video footage, so there is no unexpected deaths or bleepin' and bloopin'. No mirrored footage, with deaths showing after the scene finishes.
