Holy key change, St. Nick! This song, Dragoknights, has always been a hot and cold with me—but the one thing that I always wanted to hear the song in was D Major, and that was my first priority when transcribing / re-composing this. I also made a really, really unconventional choice with my instrument volume levels, but...that may just be playing homage to something special. Anyhoo, Icirrus City. In the Winter, it's one of my favourite places in the Pokémon World, because dat snow, and dat diamond dust. Icirrus City just feels homey to me, I really don't know why because it's more of a prairie landscape and I live in the heavily forested mountains of British Columbia...but details details. A part of me wonders if Dendemille City (Not gonna lie, I looked up the spelling of this. Goddammit, Masuda.) might have been an inspiration from Icirrus, or vice versa depending on where they were on XY development in 2009. GameFreak seems to have a thing for windmills these days, so I wonder if we'll ever get to go inside one for maybe an event or something. Now I'm just rambling, so Dragoknights, I hope you enjoy this song.
