Amateur photographer Andy Saunders of Culcheth, England has uncovered the first clear picture of Aldrin’s face while walking on the moon in July 1969. It took the 45-year-old property developer hours to improve the resolution, a few pixels at a time. Saunders used the same photo-enhancing technology astronomers use to improve the quality of planets in the distance.
