Because of the shelf space I have available, I’ve decided to target a total of 125 bottles in my permanent collection. The initial breakdown by category is:
50 Scotch
35 Bourbon
10 Rye
7 Other American
5 Irish
3 Japanese
5 World
10 Wildcard
125 Total
That breakdown may change as I start to fill in the slots. I’ve learned over the past couple of years that I like most whiskey styles, but my favorites tend to be scotch and bourbon.
