This is a nostalgia piece for me. It's one of my earliest attempts to transcribe a guitar instrumental from a recording. It's not accurate, of course, but I think it's recognizable. Ok, this is another stalling entry.
It was a short interlude/filler piece on the Doobie Brothers' album, "The Captain and me". It started with a fade in and ended with a fade out , so the beginning and ending of this arrangement are not part of the original recording.
Structurally, it's a "simple" piece that stays within the first 4 frets of the guitar, but it's not what I'd call "easy". But that may be just a matter of my own limitations. I tried to play it more slowly than this, but my body's natural rhythm took over as usual and dictated the pace.
