Representatives of downtown businesses across the country travelled to Ottawa on Tuesday to ask the federal government to act swiftly to tackle homelessness, addictions, mental health issues and crime on Canada's urban streets. Kate Fenske, chair of the International Downtown Association Canada, says, ‘It's not just one solution,’ adding that ‘everyone has come to the table’ because things need to change.
