Collins Aerospace enables passengers in business aircraft to control their cabin environment and entertainment directly from their personal phone or tablet via the Venue CabinCommand app.
This video barely scratches the surface of how easy it is for business jet passengers to change the lighting in the cabin environment conveniently on their personal phone. By downloading the application on either iOS or Android device and connecting to the cabin wireless network, passengers can control all aspects of the cabin right from their phone.
The beauty of Venue is that it can be personalized specifically as the passenger desires. This example video illustrates a series of three pre-configured lighting presets that can be custom saved in the system defined by the user, and then easily recalled with the push of a button to recall often used favorites for convenience. Each light can be adjusted in the system for color temperature and brightness right from the app. The app allows the passenger to select the cabin zone, and then each individual light to set the environment just right wherever they are positioned, whether it’s the overall cabin lighting, or just the read and table lights.
