As Allen steps into its 150th year, we’re celebrating the people and traditions that make this community shine. Allen Flower Shop is one of the oldest businesses in town and its recent nod as a Historic Texas Treasure Business is just one of the ways it exemplifies what it means to be in Allen.

Jim Kerr purchased the business from another local in 1972 and gifted to his wife, Carolyn, for her birthday. Starting as a hobby it has grown into the city's beloved place for floral delights. Ginger Kerr Collier has taken over for her parents and runs the shop now.
