I took a drive up the Bells Line of Road to see the devastation left by just one of many massive Bushfires burning across New South Wales.
This particular fire has burned over 500,000 hectares of bush and property and this is just one fire. This fire is predicted to burn until March without any significant rainfall to put it out.
As you can see, there is not a lot left. Trees, scrub, animals, road signs are gone. The bush will rejuvenate within the next 6-12 months and start to regrow.
I also try out my new camera mount for a different viewpoint so I hope you enjoy the vid, the new view and the small insight to what has been happening for the last 2-3 months.
The NSW Rural Fire Service are mostly VOLUNTEERS who stand in these blazes protecting properties, lives and livelihoods. Such amazing people.
