Busch Gardens Tampa: Zero Crowds on Our October Visit + First Time Riding Iron Gwazi!

Busch Gardens Tampa on an October weekday was an absolute dream. SUPER low crowds, walk‑on rides, and a relaxed vibe you just don’t get during spooky season. We visited on the only non–Howl‑O‑Scream date during Halloween week, and it made a massive difference — the park was running at around 10% capacity!

Pretty much every ride was a walk‑on, and we managed to do almost everything (and lots rides multiple times) within the 10am–5pm park hours.

We finally rode Iron Gwazi for the first time (wow!), tried some of the food options around the park, and even used Quick Queue on SheiKra — which came in handy because it was running very slowly on a single train. Huge thank you to our viewer Lisa Robinson for gifting us some single‑shot Quick Queues; even on a quiet day, they made a difference!

Overall, this was a far better experience than our recent SeaWorld visit!
