The 95mm² cable has arrived last week, and it is time to run it across from the Battery Shelf over to the new Battery Wall. Because of the cable marking, it is pretty straight forward to keep track of the single cable lengths, which should be the same for both positive as well as for both negative lines. And then it is time to use the new electric crimper tool! First, I thought this is a bit of a toy and gimmick but after cutting open some of the test crimps, and from how good the crimp connections look, I think, this is a very serious and professional tool.
We now are in the great position of having the full battery power already over at the opposite wall. From here, I can now start distributing it through the Victron busbar to the NOARK MCCBs.
This work was important of getting done before the electrician is taking the house off-grid. I had to turn off the power twice and I wouldn't like doing it with the house already being connected to the battery and losing power everywhere.
