A bus has crashed into an Auckland train station.
Photos taken from the scene on Monday afternoon showed a bus horizontal across the road at the New Lynn station, with its front smashed into the shelter.
Plastic and debris could be seen across the footpath, with the front of the bus roof ripped off.
Police said they were called to the incident at 4.30pm. One person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, a spokesperson said, and inquiries were under way to determine the cause of the crash.
