Two week MAP? Pshht. Three weeks.
Just an excuse to animate Battlewinner? Pshhhht. Of course.
I had a vision and did everything possible to make it happen.
I wanted that smooth 60fps without making it look choppy by adding too many frames. Typically I'd achieve this with Twixtor, but on a large scale like this and with only eight frames to work with (two segments drawn at 12fps and 3fps respectively), I couldn't make it look good without butchering something.
I looked into the AI they used in the 'Turning Anime into 60fps using AI!' videos, which was surprisingly available for free: enter DAIN-APP, a program trained to interpolate animations specifically.
It took nearly twelve hours to render out correctly, but I am so glad I waited and got rid of the nasty Twixtor version. Despite being frame by frame it looks so cohesive with my Dragonbones first half, and once I slapped 86284987 effects on it, one of which being a particle effect I generated myself, it was done.
So I apologize for taking eight extra days. I think the result was worth it though, hm?

VEGAS takes a long time to render videos, especially 4K videos. I had to export three in quick succession, so I took three, uninterrupted videos of myself drawing while bored. I didnt think about the fact that VEGAS was consuming all my processing power, which left none for OBS, meaning I got a frame every few minutes. Thats why the video is so choppy, and why its overall a fail. Figured Id upload it anyway. Cant hurt.
For Flawed Design participants;
Todays tests show that I can produce the final MAP in 2K, 60fps. If youd like to reexport your part to match these capabilities, it would help any tweening in your part look smoother.
