MEMENTO MORI:
Memento mori is a Latin phrase that may be freely translated as "Remember that you are mortal. Remember you will die."

The theme of this project is mortality, whether it is from the eyes of the victim, the killer, or those who survived the brush of death. We cope with mortality in many different ways, not just our own mortality, but the mortality of those around us as well.
