7003-09 is a 2009 New Flyer D40LF and is part of a 10 unit order (7001-7008, 7010-7011). These were the fourth order of Burlington Transit New Flyer D40LF buses purchased by the system, and are currently(2022) the oldest. These units are powered with a Cummins 8.9L EPA07 Diesel Turbocharged 6 cylinder Engine (ISL) and a 6 speed automatic Allison World B400R6 Gen IV transmission. These units use American Seating Metropolitan passenger seats, and driver controlled climate control.
