Why I'm not on leaderboards: CH V1.1 is unplayable on my PC for some reason, it crashes the moment I enter a song if I'm leaderboard mode, and even exiting it will make it crash randomly, so I downgraded back to V1.0
0:00 First time I hit full solo (circa 2023)
0:31 Solo Re-FC with handcam (Jan 31st, 2023)
1:02 My worst choke
1:45 FC Run
HOLY
FUCKING
SHIT.
This will forever be my greatest FC of all time, I can't think of a single thing that will top it. This was 3 years in the making; hell, I could argue it was 5 years in the making since Ghostforce first showed me the chart. That strumming is 28nps unforced for 7 seconds, before it comes back AGAIN after a 4 second break for another 4 seconds. Personally, I completely put it off as impossible for me to do, since the strumming was way too long to maintain that kind of speed for. Ghost would end up getting a 95% FC in August of that year. But alas, normal speed still ended up being just out of reach.
About a year goes by, and Mawi enters the scene. Within months he completely blows every vibro accomplishment out of the water. He would eventually knock out full song at the beginning of 2023. To say that was a monumental accomplishment is a ludacrous understatement. When the FC happened, I was both shocked and relieved that no one else ever had to play the chart again. And was still convinced it was physically completely out of my reach... but for some reason I wanted to keep trying.
A couple days after that FC go by, and I realize it was POSSIBLE for me to do. When I hit the full solo for the first time, I was just straight up dumbfounded that I could hit something so fast for so long. I did go for full song runs for a bit after I was able to keep hitting it, but my strumming would completely shit out when I actually got up to the solo. My body gets unprepared to move that fast after 5 minutes pass of me basically doing nothing, and I never even got close. After exhausting myself for a long time, I put it off and said to myself "Yeah, I'll probably go back to it again."
Welp, I completely fucked myself over. For some reason right around 2024, my vibro strumming speed completely died. I was barely able to hit SOAR A normal speed, and I was very demotivated and confused. I decided to just stick to console full time since the only CH attention I had gotten was from vibro clips, and essentially moved on. Alex would eventually find a new vibro grip and go even further than Mawi had pushed previously. And of course, other players like Gaster, Bender, Username, Vena, Ledmo etc would come and also prove their insane vibro capabilities, and I knew I was probably not gonna be able to compete anymore, so I was done.
A couple years go by, and I slowly start to integrate myself back into the CH scene. Once I become aware of Bender and his insane speed, I get motivated to see how my speed is doing. I randomly figure out my speed had come back!!!! I was able to knock out SOAR A 110%, Re-FC Abyss B strumming and Solo 2A 125% a bunch of times, and I was so excited for what was possible for me now.
After looking at a bunch of songs, I remembered that this song existed and eventually was able to find the chart. At first it still seemed incredibly daunting, but I was able to Re-FC the solo relatively quickly, and knew that it was possible. The 4 1/2 minute wait to get to the solo didn't seem that long anymore (console grinds granted me a ton of patience) and I thought it wouldn't be that bad of a grind. Unfortunately, that was the exact opposite of the case. Just one session would make me an absolute sweatbath, and would completely KILL my arm. FCing the solo even once was exhausting, and grinding it for hours on end put me in agony. Not to mention the days where I'd play it WAY too much and literally make my arm go limp, and then nearly have the entire upper right side of my body sore as fuck for days. Once I had my choke shown at the intro, I was so disheartened and in pain, so I gave up on the song for a bit to let my arm rest. But I KNEW I would come back and get it.
Fast forward to a few days ago, and I get the urge to give this song another go. I was able to get some good streaks on the solo, but the problem was my stamina. I got scared that my arm had been killed since I had been grinding vibro stuff all day. But after giving it a rest, I decided to go for full runs. Only a few runs after figuring out I just had to "prime" my arm so to speak by vibroing in dead space in the song so I could hit the solo, I finally, FINALLY got the FC I've been yearning for. I'm still in shock just typing this honestly
S/o to @kattny , @goorillaGH , @Drippingwater and @MrJJSpazz for giving me moral support throughout the grind and believing in me :3
