Burger Builder is an action-platform game in the vein of BurgerTime. You play as a chef whose objective is to assemble hamburgers by navigating a screen filled with interconnected platforms. These platforms hold the necessary ingredients—buns, patties, and lettuce. When the chef walks across an ingredient, it drops down to the platform below. Once all ingredients in a vertical column reach the bottom of the screen, a hamburger is completed. Finish all hamburgers on the screen to advance to the next level.
Unlike BurgerTime, ingredients do not automatically cascade downward; an ingredient will only fall if there is open space beneath it. This design requires players to work strategically from the bottom of the screen upward. Complicating matters are roaming enemies in the form of burgers, pickles, cheese, and mushrooms. Each platform hosts an enemy that patrols back and forth. While enemies can be crushed by falling ingredients for bonus points, they will eventually respawn—faster than before. With no direct means of attack, your only defense is careful movement and evasion.
